The first day started with the finding of the first 4-leaf clover of the year. Always a favorite moment of mine. My neighbor Melody came by early and helped set up and made the first paper of the day. Then the younger crew arrived and we made several pieces of homemade paper. This was followed by painting, a dance party, hide and seek, repelling down the tree, and a lot of cheese ball eating. The next day came and went with plenty of fun and discovery. Tie dye is a process requiring patience and care. The girls each made a shirt and we dyed the cover-up shirts too.
