It is hard to describe the messy fun that plaster of Paris involves. Needless to say, I have not a single photo of us in action. Too much wet, mushy, gooshey plaster on my hands to pick up a camera.
The littlest members were convinced we were making slime again, until it hardened into a rock, or a hundred tiny rocks as the case may be. Some of the more daring members tried making plaster paintings, others made small candles placed in molds, but my favorite was by far the bowls made of cloth dipped in the plaster. The lace was beautiful, and the thick light fleece worked like a charm. This could be the follow-up for sure. Next week we will do an activity making something for Mother's day. Thanks to Daveon for the inspired idea!
